Day One Highlights
This year’s edition of the Belgrade Behance Campus @Mikser Festival is all about portfolios. The essential tool of creatives. Those fancy collections of paper or Web real estate that are often their first contact with prospective clients or employers.
On this first day, June 3, a big takeaway was the benefit of Behance’s ProSite portfolio-building software, and how invaluable a *killer* portfolio generally is.
We also had fun, including a birthday party on-the-go for one of our lovely organizers!

Goran Pandza: Portfolios with ProSite
– powered by SATURIZED –
The first workshop, titled “How to Make a Portfolio,” was mentored by Goran Pandza, head of design studio de:work. “Behance has contributed immensely to my success,” he confessed. “These days I feel I should give back to the network however I can.”
Goran has used Behance to reach new clients and score key projects, kick-starting his stellar design career. He showed the numerous participants Behance’s ProSite web builder, which makes it possible to build stunning portfolios that are directly integrated with the network – quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price.
The workshop was powered by SATURIZED. They’re an interactive agency, acting as secret weapons, co-pilots, and the biggest supporters of your business, without taking a backseat.
By the way, SATURIZED is hiring design talent, so drop them a line, fellow creatives!
Friends from Far East
To our great pleasure, we have been visited by a group of students from Hong Kong’s prestigious PolyU university. These young, friendly, albeit (only at first glance) a bit shy industrial designers of tomorrow attended a presentation by Nenad Ivanovic, one of the organizers from Lege Artists. He showed our guests how to best leverage the Behance platform to boost their careers.
Nenad suggested three things are crucial to do so: 1) usage of technical features; 2) the social networking potential; 3) implementing ProSite.
Their professor was thrilled by the presentation! Later on, he told us that he was glad that his students could hear firsthand about the great possibilities of new communications tools such as Behance.
“People like me were bred in the old school labor market,” he said. “But the students are already immersed in this new world, and they must embrace every bit of it! Especially if they are to take the path of freelancing.”
Thumbs up! Serbia Behance Showcase Exhibition
– powered by SuperDot –
And at last, it’s voting time! At 7 p.m., we opened voting for the Serbia Behance Showcase exhibition. Visitors could, upon leaving their email address, vote for one of the eight works displayed, by giving their “appreciation” via the thumbs up sticker.
What’s your favorite?
Voting lasts until the end of event, so be sure to give your thumbs up to the work that inspires you the most! Just ask the organizers, and they will show you how.
This feat was powered SuperDot, one of those cool marketing agencies that cradle the potential of young creatives.

A big thanks to the folks over there for printing the brand materials that made our event look amazing!
We the People
Enter the awesome people that took part of this first day and, of course, our organizing team. On this first day we had many visitors and participants form all around the world. We learned about Behance’s networking, networked ourselves, and learned from each other. And, of course, we had fun!
A worthy mention: we celebrated the 25th birthday of our lovely Bela complete with pie for everybody!
Thanks to all those who were with us. Stay tuned: there’s much, more in stock for the next days!
